Minecraft, the mod loader, and every mod in the pack download automatically. First launch of a pack takes a few minutes — every launch after that is near-instant.

Portable AppImage, works on any distro. Needs FUSE: libfuse2 (Debian/Ubuntu) or fuse2 (Arch).

What you need before you hit Play

- A Minecraft: Java Edition license, signed in via your Microsoft account.
- OS
- Windows 10/11 (64-bit) or Linux with FUSE support.
- Java
- Java 17 through 25, depending on the pack's Minecraft version. Auto-detected — or the launcher downloads it for you.
- Storage
- ~500MB–a few GB per modpack on first launch. Storage location is configurable if you'd rather use another drive.
- Network
- Required for sign-in and the first sync of a pack. Already-synced packs can be replayed offline.
