Your server is created the moment the order goes through, with the type and version you picked, and waiting in the panel with its address ready to share.
Upgrade in place
Move to a bigger plan from your service page. Same server, same world.
Save-safe shutdowns
Every stop runs save-all first. No corrupted chunks.
Lockable backups
Lock the snapshot you took before an update so it's never rotated out.
A MySQL database on Iron & Diamond
For LuckPerms, CoreProtect and other plugins that want a real database.
Help from a person
Open a ticket in the Client Area and it reaches the people who run the hardware, not a script.
No contract
Billed monthly. Cancel straight away or at the end of the month, right from the Client Area.

Running a modpack? Keep everyone's mods identical.
Kystek Launcher is a free app that syncs a pack's mods to every player automatically. Pair it with a Forge, NeoForge or Fabric server and nobody joins with the wrong version again.
From checkout to spawn.
Create a Client Area account
Sign up at billing.kystek.com with your email. This is separate from your launcher sign-in.
Choose a plan, server type and version
Pick them at checkout. Your server is created automatically as soon as the order goes through.
Connect and play
Open the control panel from your service page, grab the server address, and join from any Minecraft: Java Edition client.
Questions about hosting
Which plan should I pick?
Vanilla or Paper for a few friends runs well on Stone. Plugins or a light modpack want Iron. Large modpacks with lots of players want Diamond. If you're unsure, start smaller and upgrade in place.
Can I move my free server to a paid plan?
Free and paid are separate servers. Download your world from the free server's file manager, then upload it to your new paid server.
Can I run my Kystek Launcher modpack?
Yes. Pick Forge, NeoForge or Fabric at checkout to match your pack, then upload the pack's server-side mods through the file manager or SFTP.
Can I switch Minecraft versions later?
You can change the version from the panel. Loading a world in a different version can damage it, so take a backup first.
What happens if a payment fails?
You'll get an email with the unpaid invoice. If it stays unpaid, the server is suspended, and it can be deleted if it's left unpaid for a long time. Pay the invoice to unsuspend it.
How do I cancel?
From your service page in the Client Area, either immediately or at the end of the billing period. There's no contract.
Where do I get help?
Open a ticket in the Client Area. Hosting support is handled there, not through the launcher's Help page.
